Bought the carbon fiber top travel guitar for a number of reasons. Size and portability. But I did not want a totally carbon fiber guitar because what I’ve heard of them is a plastic sound and not a nice acoustic sound. I thought the carbon fiber fiber top with wood back and sides would offer substantial durability for playing outdoors with varying conditions like around a campfire. I could not be more happy with this purchase. It has far exceeded my expectations for sound quality and playability. It is much more of a fully instrument than I thought it would be. I expected a low cost beater guitar that I could abuse. Turns out I love playing it and it sounds great.
I own 22 quality guitars and have years of experience as a professional musician. So I know what a good playing and sounding guitar is. This guitar will be my travel beater for all types of non typical venues. But I will take care of it because I like it that much.
