WINZZ WCG370 Thin Body Solid spruce top with flamed maple veneered Nylon-String Electric Guitar

We've all been there before. We see a manufacturer's photo of a guitar with a beautiful flamed maple top and we order one, but the guitar that arrives has barely any flame and doesn't look nearly as good as the picture. That was my first thought when I saw this guitar, but I loved the color and decided to take a chance based on another Winzz guitar I own. I'm very happy to say that the guitar I received looks every bit as good as the one in the photo. The top is so nice I thought it might be a "photoflame," but under high magnification it definitely appears to be real, and it has that changeable nature that a photo top can never achieve. There weren't many details given, so I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the knobs also appear to be real wood. The guitar sounds good acoustically, and while it is quiet, it's loud enough for practicing. While I'm very pleased with this guitar and think it is definitely worth what I paid for it, there are a couple areas for improvement. There's a spot along the lower edge of the guitar where the finish is slightly marred. It's not overly noticeable, but the rest of the guitar is so beautiful it is unfortunate. And the center post of the headstock is too thick, causing the D and G strings to rub along the edge. This is a common problem I've found in many classical and hybrid guitars that aren't very expensive. The rosewood fretboard was also VERY dry, but that was easily remedied with a quick oiling. Despite these minor issues, I'm very happy with this guitar and it is simply stunning.
